We inform you that the holders of an Italian permit of stay expired between January 31 and July 31, 2020 who intend:
- to return to Italy by transiting through another Schengen country must apply for a re-entry visa at this office. For the necessary documents, please consult the following website: https://vistoperitalia.esteri.it/home/it.
- to return to Italy by transiting through non-Schengen countries can request the issuance of a relative declaration proving the extension of the validity of the permit until August 31, 2020.
These procedures are applicable to all types of permit of stay.
