Urgent health measures."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In consideration of the recent outbreak of COVID-19 cases in Italy, the Italian government has adopted urgent containing measures.<\/p>\n<p>Among them is the compulsory information of Italian health authorities of visits to areas affected by the COVID-19 epidemic so that a home quarantine of 14 days and surveillance measures can be activated.<\/p>\n<p>An ordinance by the Italian Ministry of Health addresses all individuals regardless of nationality. It also addresses all individuals who since 7 February,2020 have entered Italy after having visited areas affected by the COVID-19 epidemic.<\/p>\n<p>The areas affected are those identified by the World Health Organization on the basis of the Organization\u2019s daily situation reports (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.who.int\">www.who.int<\/a>, Coronavirus\/Situation report \u2013 Table 1).<\/p>\n<p>Such areas currently include the People\u2019s Republic of China and <strong>Taiwan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Taiwan\u2019s travelers to Italy are therefore subject to the above -mentioned compulsory information of Italian health authorities and subsequent measures.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"In consideration of the recent outbreak of COVID-19 cases in Italy, the Italian government has adopted urgent containing measures.
