{"id":1133,"date":"2023-03-16T08:48:45","date_gmt":"2023-03-16T07:48:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/taipei.esteri.it\/?p=1133"},"modified":"2023-05-09T10:38:50","modified_gmt":"2023-05-09T08:38:50","slug":"grants-and-prizes-by-the-foreign-ministry-for-translations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/taipei.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dalla_rappresentanza\/2023\/03\/grants-and-prizes-by-the-foreign-ministry-for-translations\/","title":{"rendered":"Grants and prizes by the Foreign Ministry for translations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation promotes the dissemination of Italian publishing and cinematographic works abroad by providing incentives to translation and dubbing\/subtitling initiatives, as a strategic tool for promoting Italian language and culture abroad.<\/p>\n<p>The Foreign Ministry provides two types of financial incentives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>grant<\/strong>\u00a0for the translation of an Italian literary work, which has not yet been published abroad, and for the production, dubbing and subtitling of short\/feature-length films and TV series;<\/li>\n<li><strong>award<\/strong>\u00a0to an Italian work already translated abroad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/taipei.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/2023_moduli_di_domanda_inglese_e_italiano_1.docx\">Proposals<\/a>\u00a0shall be submitted annually to the Italian Cultural Institutes and the Italian diplomatic and consular Mission abroad, according to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/taipei.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/2023_bando_premi_e_contributi._eng.pdf\">Call regulations and procedures<\/a>.
